Friday, June 11
Colonial Annapolis & Paca Garden Walking Tour
Stroll through the charming streets of the historic district with your colonial attired guide. Then continue on to the beautiful and spacious William Paca Garden where you can enjoy a guided tour among this two acre oasis of natural beauty originally constructed in the 1760’s. Highlights may include terraces, geometric designs, a medicinal herb section, all showcasing indigenous plants and heirloom varieties. 10 a.m.—12:30 p.m. $26 adults, $13 children. Market House Park, Annapolis.
Dinner Under the Stars
West Street closes and is filled with cafe tables reminiscent of the open-air cafes in Paris and the piazzas of Rome. Live music, special art exhibits and canopy lights. Free to attend; dining prices vary. Reservations at participating restaurants are strongly recommended. Wednesdays to Saturdays through Sept. 15. 6–10 p.m. West Street, Annapolis.
Storytime with the Chesapeake Children’s Museum
Join the CCM every Friday at 10:30 a.m. on Facebook, where they’ll introduce a new children’s book each week, occasionally incorporating songs or crafts to do at home.
Saturday June 12
Crawls 4 Paws
Annapolis Homebrew Club is proud to partner with Chesepiooc Real Ale Brewing, Crooked Crab Brewing Co. and Pherm Brewing Company for a new event that will benefit the SPCA of Anne Arundel County. Each brewery will feature a unique beer, and a portion of the proceeds from the sales will go to the SPCA of AAC. Additionally there will be raffles, 50/50s and much more. There is no cover charge to attend the event—just stop by these wonderful breweries on June 12 and buy a pint!
Museum Tour & Paddle
Paddle over to the Annapolis Maritime Museum where you will join an experienced guide for a tour of the new permanent exhibit Our Changing Waterfront. Explore traditional Bay workboats in the museum’s beachside park, catch a glimpse of the historic skipjack Wilma Lee, and enjoy breathtaking views of the Bay. Offered in partnership with Capital SUP. The tour leaves at 10 a.m. from Capital SUP located at the Museum’s Park Campus, the Ellen O. Moyer Nature Park, and lasts for a total of 2 hours, returning at 12 p.m. $15 to $60 depending on what equipment you need to rent.
Lavender Festival
Lots of vendors, crafts, food and fun! 10 a.m.–4 p.m. Free to $12. Smokey Cat Lavender Farm, Federalsburg.
Free Paddle Play Day
Families are invited to a fun day on the water at Wooton’s Landing Wetland Park! You will have the opportunity to try kayaks, paddle boards, do some fishing, go for a hike, or play games. Water and snacks will be provided. Closed toe shoes are required to paddle. For kayaks and paddle boards, children must be 13 years or older. For canoes, children under 12 years old must have two paddling adults. Children 13 and older can paddle with one adult. This is a FREE event but registration is required. An email will be sent to registered participants with more information. Frederick Festival of the Arts
June 12–13. The free festival will be held creekside at Carroll Creek Park, an urban park in the heart of historic Downtown Frederick. Enjoy a beautiful view, speciality shops, crafters, entertainment, outdoor dining, distilleries and breweries. 10 a.m.– 6 p.m. Carroll Creek Park, Frederick.

2021 Meals on Wheels Car & Truck Show
If you are headed to the beach, check out this car and truck show to benefit Meals on Wheels. There will be classic cars and trucks, kids craft booths, craft vendors, food and live music. Show admission is free! 9 a.m.–2 p.m. MAC, Inc., the Area Agency on Aging, Salisbury.
End Hunger Dragon Boat Festival
Enjoy a family friendly atmosphere, local vendors, and dragon boat races to support End Hunger In Calvert County. The Dragon Boat Race course is 200 meters long, stretching out in the marina which can be viewed from everywhere. Each race will last roughly one minute, and every team is guaranteed to race at least twice. 8 a.m.–3 p.m. Rod N Reel Resort, Calvert County.
Opening Day of the Wildberry Field Market

Yoga on the Farm
Start your Sunday off with a morning yoga session among the wildflower fields! Annapolis local, YogiAllie, will teach one class a month in a series at Wildberry Farm + Market. Social distancing will be observed. 7:30–8:45 a.m. $25. Wildberry Farm, Crownsville.
Shrek the Musical
The last day to let your freak flag fly with everyone’s favorite Ogre! In a far away kingdom an unlikely hero finds himself on a life-changing journey alongside a wisecracking Donkey and a feisty princess who resists her rescue. $50–$65. Toby’s Dinner Theatre, Columbia.
Dinner & a Cruise: Maryland’s Beautiful Swimmers
A water tour guide will talk about the Chesapeake Blue Crabs. The event will begin and end at Morris Point Restaurant, where the Water Taxi will pick up registrants and take them to the St. Clement’s Island Museum for a cocktail reception. Diners will then re-board the boat and experience a narrated tour around St. Clement’s Island before returning to Morris Point Restaurant for dinner. 4–8 p.m. Tickets are $55 per person ($100 per couple) and include the boat ride, cocktail reception, dinner at Morris Point. Hosted by the St. Clement’s Island Museum.
Bowie Farmers Market
The Market will be open 8 a.m.–12 p.m. in the Bowie High School parking lot (15200 Annapolis Road), each Sunday, May 16 through October 31. A variety of vendors offer fresh locally grown produce, fruit, plants, breads, pastries, jams and jellies, eggs, beef, pork and poultry.
