May is about getting back to business. And since May is home to Mother’s Day, we decided to feature Maryland Women in Business.
We start by talking with 3 local women who have created space and opportunities for other women to let their business bloom. From coaching to creating a physical work environment, these ladies provide support to allow ideas grow. Also check out our Women in Business Profiles, where the women in local businesses and organizations share how they got started.
Up next is the littlest of small businesses- kids! We feature kids who have their own businesses and took part in our Kids Fests as vendors. We also share ways your kids can make some money. Have them get a taste of being an entrepreneur or just do some odd jobs around the house for extra cash. They not only have some spending money, but learn how to budget time and money.
Be sure to check out these Dog Friendly Beaches as well as these great seafood restaurants recommended by the Things to Do in Maryland Facebook group.
