There’s a whole lot of Zooming going on! For class, work, playdates, and of course very important reasons like happy hour, Zoom has become the go-to stay-in-touch tool across households.
Surprise your teacher, co-workers or friends by turning yourself into an alien or potato during your next chat!
It’s super easy to do, just follow these simple steps:
- Download the Snap Camera App to your desktop
- Log into your Zoom account. Go to Settings, select video, select camera. Click on Snap Camera.
- Make a test call. The Snap Camera filters should be on your Zoom call at this point while you are on a call.
- To turn Snap Camera off, go back to the camera option in your Zoom settings, click on your camera’s default camera option.
You can only change your Snapchat filter within the Snap Camera app on your computer, not within the Zoom meeting itself. Definitely something to be aware of so you don’t end up looking like a giant potato during your entire video call (which happened to one boss recently!).
Once you’re set up, you can choose to be a cosmic cat, have a donut head or even be a disco avocado.
The app also works when chatting on Google Hangouts, Skype, OBS, Twitch, and YouTube videos.
