Celebrate the holidays with these events in Downtown Annapolis and learn why Annapolis was voted one of the top towns to visit during the holidays.
December 3, 11 a.m. until 4 p.m., the first block of West Street in Annapolis will be closed for the Chocolate Binge Festival. There will be live music, family-friendly entertainment, chocolate, and holiday shopping.
Take a chocolate tour along West Street with chocolate vendors selling various chocolate specialties, including chocolate truffles, caramels, bars, fudge, cookies, cakes, martinis, French macaroons, cupcakes, pies, brownies, and more.
You can also complete your holiday shopping at our holiday market at the Annapolis Chocolate Binge Festival featuring local artisans with a wide range of handmade items including jewelry, pottery, candles, wood turnings, ornaments, clothing and more.

Hit up shops and restaurants in downtown Annapolis and the first block of West Street on December 7, 14 and 21. The fun starts at 4 p.m. and runs until midnight on the 7 and 14th, until 11 p.m. on the 21st. And it\’s just not shopping. There will be carolers, special treats in stores, and you might even get up close to an alpaca.
Eastport Yacht Club Parade of Lights
December 9. Lights go on at 6pm. The magic happens out on the waters of Spa Creek. Promptly at 6 p.m. boats illuminated with thousands of colored lights will appear. Crews sing Christmas carols while navigating up the creek. You can watch from the shoreline.
December 27 from 10 a.m. until noon, led by the world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales the parades kicks off from Annapolis City Dock. Participants in the parade includes youth groups, community groups, military-themed groups, youth football teams, participating team marching bands and spirit groups and more. The Parade is free to attend and open to the general public.After the parade, join the Official Military Bowl Tailgate in the Blue Lot on the west side of the stadium.
The parade is expected to take about 1 ½ hours for all 60-plus units to move from City Dock to the stadium. Roads along the route will be closed beginning at 9:45 AM and will open on a rolling basis as the parade progresses to the stadium.
