There are four kids in my family, and each year the four of us and our spouses can’t quite decide what to do for Christmas gifts. As fully grown folks who generally buy things when they want to, it’s hard to find meaningful gifts within our small allotted budget. Some years we give personal gifts, others we have donated to charities. But the most fun is giving each other gifts we can experience together.
If you and your siblings are looking for ways to get together, especially after being apart so much in 2020, try one of these group experiences. You can pitch in together, then gather in spring for some well deserved fun!
Ropes Course
Relive your childhood rivalries on a high-flying obstacle course like the Adventure Park at Sandy Springs or Terrapin Adventures in Savage Mill.
Wine or Beer Tasting
Try Sagamore Spirits, Guinness Brewery, Jailbreak Brewing or Flying Dog for tours, tastings and fun.
Go Fishing or Sailing
Book a charter boat on the Bay. Or try sailing lessons at Annapolis Sailing School or the Downtown Sailing Center in Baltimore.
Plan a Game Night Series
Everyone buy a game and take turns hosting. Great for getting together when the kids need to tag along!
