Tis the season of giving! In previous years the U.S. Postal Service has allowed the community to respond to kids’ letters to Santa through its Operation Santa program at any local post office. The program got an upgrade and now people can choose a letter and fulfill the holiday wishes online.
Just head over to the Opertation Santa website and sign up for an account, then browse all the letters to Santa from kids, single parent households, and others who are looking for some holiday magic this season. You can specify search criteria by state, items versus special requests, and whether you’d like to adopt one child or an entire family.
Once you have found a letter you connect with, simply get the gifts or special request together and ship to the family anonymously.
Letters from at least 15 cities will be uploaded to the Operation Santa website but if you prefer to go the old school route you can always visit your local post office to adopt a child or family’s letter there too.
Happy Holidays!
