The last in a series of regional forums on Maryland students’ access to dance, music, theater and visual arts will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 29 in Annapolis.
Governor Martin O’Malley’s Leadership Council established a statewide task force to study and make recommendations on students’ access to the arts. To ensure that all stakeholders in students’ education in Maryland have an opportunity to provide the task force with comments, regional forums have been held around the state. The last of the forums is scheduled for Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. at Annapolis High School.
The final report of the task force will be presented to the governor and his council in June.
