An exhibit of artworks featuring people, scenes and ideas iconic to Maryland is now available to explore in Gallery 90 at the Hospice of the Chesapeake’s administrative building in Pasadena, Md. A selection from “Maryland, My Maryland,” previously at the BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport, is on display at Gallery 90 from Jan. 22-March 24, 2016.
A docent-led tour is scheduled for Feb. 12 at 2 p.m. The public also can visit by appointment, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, to see the exhibit of approximately 60 pieces.
The original exhibit was displayed at BWI Terminal D April-October 2015 during a terminal expansion project. At that time, only passengers and employees could view the exhibit.
“Maryland, My Maryland” was originally curated by the Chesapeake Arts Center. Photographers and graphic artists represented include Jase Anzulis, Stephen Bradley, Nicole Caracia, Ricky Chenoweth, William Edwards, Emily Forgo, Sidney Jackson, Greg Ketterman, Geoff Lawrence, Vienne Rea and Bill Shewbridge.
