It’s never too early to start thinking of Thanksgiving! Just a few short weeks away, if you’re hosting, it’s time to start planning. If you’re a guest, now is the time to make your offer of a dish to share, and this is the easiest of the easy. Using a slow cooker frees a burner and also helps save you from cooking a dish at the last minute. You can even transport these carrots, already cooked, in the slow cooker when taking them with you to a party. Bring the yummy brown sugar mixture in small resealable plastic bag, then toss the carrots with it just before serving to make a side dish the kids will go crazy for. Sweet, with a touch of spice from the cinnamon and you’ve got a winning veggie side dish.
