All Community Hanukkah Celebration

Bring your chanukkiot (menorahs) and celebrate the Festival of Lights with music, dance, dinner, candle lighting, and dreidel games! Fun for the whole family. RSVP preferred to osrsassistant@gmail.com. Chanukah gift shop sale from 4 – 6 p.m. Come early for adult learning or Jewish papercutting and Chanukah text study with our Rabbis at 4 – 5 p.m. There will be a special surprise event at 7 pm that you won’t want to miss!

National Menorah Lighting

Music by the Military Bands of the Military District of Washington perform at the lighting ceremony, as well as food, entertainment and special guests. Free, ticket required, limited seating. Gates open at 3 p.m., celebration at 4 p.m.

Mishkan Torah Hanukkah Party

Join Mishkan Torah for an in-person Hanukkah Party on the first night of Hanukkah, December 18, 5pm-7pm. We will have a community candle lighting, latkes with fixings and gelt, and a Hanukkah play by our Karp Family School students. All ages are welcome, and members and guests are welcome to attend. An RSVP is appreciated.

Families and members of all ages are invited to join Beth Shalom Congregation’s annual Hanukkah Extravaganza. This year, enjoy not only games, crafts and traditional Hanukkah foods, but a Jewish Camp Fair as well! Sisterhood will have their Judaica shop open for any last minute Hanukkah items you need.
