Hazy, hot, and humid. That’s pretty much the description of all Maryland summers, and I love it. Early morning walks, checking for ripe tomatoes, and explorations on or near the water that’s part of summer that I look forward to.
We hope you enjoy the summer too. There’s still time before school starts. In this issue of Chesapeake Family Life, we focus on a day trip to Ocean City should you squeeze in a quick trip. There’s also an article on an escape to Calvert County with tips for fossil hunting, learning about maritime traditions, and enjoying art at Annmarie Sculpture Garden.
And mostly, have fun with your family whatever you do, and don’t worry if things don’t turn out exactly as you had planned, it’s all part of the adventure!
