Get ready to ride! The Anne Arundel County Lifeline 100 bike ride offers cycling fun for the whole family with everything from long routes to a bike rodeo.

This annual signature county event draws attention to the benefits of safe bicycling for health, recreation and transportation. This event offers biking to riders of all ages and abilities including those with special needs.
Bikes Routes
Bring the whole family to this event as they have a route for everyone! There is truly something for all types of cyclists. What type of rider are you?
- Road: The 65 or 100 mile routes take riders through the many scenic parts of Anne Arundel County. Riders will experience Chesapeake Bay views through historic Annapolis and scenic rural byways down in south county. These routes are on rural and urban roads so be aware of vehicular traffic.
- Recreational: Enjoy 15 or 30 mile routes on the flat paved B&A Trail, a community favorite! This is great for great for families and recreational riders who prefer an all trail ride without having to work about vehicular traffic.
- Family: A FREE Fun Ride features a one mile paved loop trail inside the pastoral Kinder Farm Park.
- Children: Learn bike safety and more at the FREE Children’s Bike Rodeo for ages 4-10.
- Special Needs: Riders with special needs and their accompanying riders can register at special 2 for 1 rate.
Children’s Bike Rodeo
Next to Kinder Farm Park’s Main Visitor Center, there will be a free Children’s Bike Rodeo and Family Fun Ride. The Bike Rodeo is for children ages 4-10 and will include a short bike safety check, helmet instruction, and safe riding tips. It is then followed by a kids’ obstacle riding course that includes turns, stops and crossings. It will take about 30 minutes to complete.
From there, families may ride a 1-mile paved loop trail inside Kinder Farm Park. Children must be accompanied by a parent (on foot or bike). Children are encouraged to bring their own bikes and must wear a helmet. Although these rides for kids are free, you need reserve a slot ahead of time.

15 mile Ride – Early: $25 Regular $30 Late: $45 - Packet Pickup: Saturday, Oct. 1, 12-2pm and Sunday, Oct. 2 starting at 6:15AM outside the Kinder Farm Park Visitor Center. You may also pick up for friends and family.
