The 2023 Maryland STEM Festival is all set for a grand opening on October 13th, preceded by an exciting evening event on October 12th at Howard Community College (HCC), running from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm.
This anticipated kickoff will feature a diverse array of engaging activities, including video games generously provided by renowned developers such as Firaxis, Big Huge Games, MICA and UB students, Baltimore Independent Game Developers, American Society of Naval Engineers, and the National Cryptologic Foundations.
Enthusiasts from all corners of the STEM spectrum, including the Kangaroos Kids, are expected to make appearances, ensuring an unforgettable experience for all attendees. It’s worth noting that HCC holds a special place in the festival’s history, being the birthplace of the HoCo STEM Festival, which ultimately evolved into the statewide Maryland STEM Festival.
